ABOUT ME
Hey! I'm Matthew Kenely
A Software Engineer at Colour my Travel and a published academic author with research interests in computer vision and image processing.I've obtained a B.Sc. IT (Hons) in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Malta, graduating with First Class Honours, and am currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence with a focus on neuroimaging, applying Siamese networks to identify monozygotic twins from brain MRI scans through neuroanatomical differences extracted through embeddings.
I am an advocate for open knowledge and free (libre) software. The preprints and accepted versions of my publications can be downloaded for free here.

I took part in an Erasmus+ placement at Lancaster University (Artificial Intelligence, Media Coding and Processing).
I have a passion for photography and digital illustration, as well as for music (piano, bass, drums, guitar).
